Beginning work in 2015 at McKesson as a graphic designer for the U.S. Pharma Marketing Events team, and then advancing to the Digital Marketing team to manage the micro-websites of the U.S. Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services segment, before finally landing in the current position of Sr. Graphic and Instructional Designer within the Sales Training and Enablement department for all of U.S. Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services, the following section highlights work created for McKesson.
Vyond is an animated character creator platform that can be utilized for training materials. Recently on the sales training team, there has been an increased interest to produce more animated trainings, likely due to the continued virtual environment many sales reps are still experiencing. Utilizing the platform’s existing props and backdrops have not only sped up production but also put a new twist on the trainings that the sales reps experience.

As one of the first projects assigned while working under the Sales Training team, the need to efficiently communicate with the field sales team without bombarding their inboxes was apparent. By designing a department newsletter to send out monthly, the benefit of this newsletter creates team awareness within the field, as well as with internal leaders, along with effectively communicating about what’s going on within the department to ensure transparency and encourage good working relationships.
McKesson is ever-expanding within the world of Oncology and one of the continued connections is through the Intrafusion Summit each year. To highlight new branding set to release during the summit, a video was produced showcasing sales representatives talking about how they help clear the path for their customers.

With the McKesson ideaShare website being so heavily utilized each year by employees and customers, alike, the need developed to refresh the website’s layout to enhance the user experience. The website plays an important role in the show’s success, as it provides crucial information before, during, and after the show, and it became evident that the information needed to be laid out as such. Looking primarily at how the site looks in mobile view, we designed a scrolling homepage with high-level information. If the user wanted more detailed information, they would then be able to click further into the site to learn more. Over the course of the event, we saw higher spikes in user visits on the site overall from the previous year.
With McKesson’s U.S. Pharma’s headquarters moving to Las Colinas, Texas from San Francisco, California, the need for an additional Vision Center to showcase the goods and services offered by McKesson to our customers, employees, and legislators. Planning began in early 2016, with design starting in the Fall of 2016, culminating with the grand opening in the Spring of 2017. Coordinating the Vision Center messaging and graphics with the San Francisco Corporate Vision Center is critical to ensure brand consistency for both locations.
The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Annual Conference 2017 takes place in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania in October. McKesson has a small table at the conference and allows for minimal signage per the size restraints. This 24”x36” poster is the perfect signage to sit next to the table while freeing up space on the table.
